Since 1993

People of Substance exists to catalog and share the stories of those suffering from opioid addiction. It seeks to break the stereotypes associated with the Opioid Crisis in the United States. We want the words and stories from those suffering from addiction to change the preconceived notions about their situations, to humanize them as people rather than stigmatize them as addicts.

We want to share your story. If you have been affected by opioids or other addictions and would like to share your experiences, please let us know.
